Scope
This policy applies to mcp-wiki.com, the MCP Wiki API, and the customer console. It distinguishes between two categories: account data (information about you, our customer) and processed data (the public social data you query through the API).
Data we collect
- Account. Name, work email, company, and authentication credentials.
- Billing. Plan, billing address, and a payment token held by our processor — we never store full card numbers.
- Usage. API keys, request metadata, quota consumption, and diagnostic logs.
- Support. Messages and attachments you send us.
How we use it
We use account data to operate the service, authenticate requests, meter quota, prevent abuse, bill you, and provide support. We use aggregated, de-identified usage data to improve performance and reliability. We do not sell your account data.
Public data we process
When you call the API, MCP Wiki retrieves publicly available social data and returns it to you. For that data you are the controller; MCP Wiki is the processor. We process it solely to fulfill your request and to operate the index, and we restrict ourselves to public surfaces as described in our Compliance page.
If you are a data subject who has found your public information in a MCP Wiki response, you can request suppression through our contact form (topic “Compliance / DPA”), and we will route it to the relevant controller and act on our side.
Sharing
We share data only with subprocessors that help us run the service — cloud hosting, error monitoring, and payment processing — each bound by contract. We may disclose data where required by law. We do not share your data with advertisers.
Retention
Account data is retained for the life of your account and for a limited period afterward to meet legal and accounting obligations. Diagnostic logs are retained on a rolling window. You can request deletion of your account data at any time, subject to those obligations.
Your rights
- Access a copy of the account data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Request deletion, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Port your data in a machine-readable format.
To exercise any of these, reach us through the contact form. We respond within 30 days.
Cookies
The marketing site uses essential cookies and privacy-respecting analytics. The console uses a session cookie required to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
